Program Objective:
The goal of the Forestry and Forest Products Program is to provide a scientific foundation for the management, processing, and trade of non-wood forest products, which are becoming increasingly important. Additionally, the program aims to train intermediate personnel who can assist forest engineers, agricultural engineers, pharmacists, doctors, and biologists in this specialized area, frequently emphasized by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
Courses and Practical Applications in the Program:
The curriculum of the Forestry and Forest Products Program includes theoretical courses and practical applications designed to train intermediate personnel (technicians) required for:
- Nature Parks, National Parks, Nature Protection Areas, Biogenetic and Biosphere Reserves under the Directorate General of Nature Conservation and National Parks.
- Forestry enterprises under the General Directorate of Forestry.
- The private sector specializing in medicinal and aromatic plants, as well as ornamental plant businesses.

Diploma and Title Awarded:
Graduates of the Forestry and Forest Products Program receive an "Associate Degree Diploma."
