Objective of the Program
The aim of the Finance program is to train qualified personnel for the Ministry of Finance, other financial institutions, and industrial and commercial enterprises, addressing the need for professionals in the tax, finance, budget, and accounting departments of these organizations.
The duration of education in the Finance program is two years. Students who wish can complete their bachelor's degree in relevant departments of other faculties through an exam or transition to the Open Education Faculty without an exam. If they complete their internship for Certified Public Accountant (CPA), they earn the title of CPA and can work independently as such. Graduates of this program earn the title of "Professional Staff."
Required Qualifications
Individuals who wish to become finance professionals should have analytical and numerical thinking skills, an interest in mathematics, sociology, and psychology, and success in these areas.
A finance professional, as part of their duties, often interacts with other personnel and the public, requiring them to be patient, understanding, tolerant, and sensitive to human needs. They should possess strong communication skills to express their ideas effectively and convince others, and they should enjoy interacting with people.
Titles and Jobs Earned by Graduates
Students who complete the associate degree in Finance are entitled to receive an "Associate Degree Diploma" and gain the title of Finance Professional. They can work in managerial positions in public and private sector institutions and organizations in roles related to their skills.
Graduates who acquire the ability to establish independent businesses can also work as Certified Public Accountants.
